Building Brave Spaces
What We Teach
Explore a wide range of training topics tailored to meet your organization's needs. From understanding S.O.G.I.E. (Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, and Expression) to addressing intersectionality, race, and inclusion, our sessions provide tools to foster equity and belonging. We also specialize in gender-based violence prevention, covering intimate partner violence (IPV), sexual abuse, and human trafficking.
What We Do
We offer tailored solutions to help organizations create lasting change. This includes guiding culture shifts through organizational transformation consulting, delivering customized training programs designed to meet your team’s unique needs, and equipping leaders with strategies to foster equity and accountability. This work is grounded in collaboration, intentionality, and a commitment to meaningful impact.
How We Work
Our approach is intentional, collaborative, and rooted in equity. We create brave spaces for honest conversations, guiding organizations and leaders through the discomfort of accountability to drive meaningful change. Grounded in a holistic, healing-centered framework, we focus on building trust, fostering connection, and empowering sustainable practices that cultivate belonging and inclusion at every level.

About Dana
Healing, accountability, and belonging are at the heart of everything I do. As a non-binary, Black masc-identified creative and community organizer born and raised in Detroit, I’ve spent over 15 years helping organizations and individuals navigate the hard work of transformation. My experience spans nonprofit and for-profit spaces, where I specialize in facilitating training, developing curriculum, and shifting organizational cultures to center inclusion and belonging. A graduate of Western Michigan University with a degree in Organizational Communication, my work emphasizes the importance of intentionality, equity, and sustainable change.
As a writer, poet, and spoken word artist, I use storytelling and creativity to build connection and inspire action. I’ve taught poetry workshops in alternative learning settings, juvenile homes, and after-school programs, and I’ve curated spaces for open expression through hosting open mic events. Grounded in my lived experiences—including overcoming homelessness and mental health challenges—I approach every aspect of my work with empathy, authenticity, and a commitment to collective healing.
